It should show up fairly quick in the 'browse device' menu though Though in the 10 minutes it took to construct this post, it finally showed up as a device alongside those other two devices of mine that I blocked out in red in the first step. I solved this by pressing 1 then 2 then 'refresh.' Another problem I came across was that it took a real long time for my macbook's bluetooth to recognize the wiimote. You may run into an issue when the refresh bar just kind of freezes for 5 or so seconds, and doesn't connect to the wiimote. If done correctly, your wiimote will vibrate and will be connected Hit 1 & 2 on the wiimote, then click the 'refresh' button. Open the Dolphin application, and choose 'Wiimote.' Select Real Wimote as the input source. Keep pressing 1 & 2 on the controller and you'll eventually see Nintendo-RVL-CNT-01 in the 'browse device' menu.

Press any random buttons on the wiimote and you'll notice all 4 lights on the controller are blinking.

Open bluetooth, and from bluetooth's menu icon select 'browse device.' Even though it's a windows guide, you'll find the information is much the same.
